Dearest Friends,

I would like to express my thanks to those who have honored me with the privilege of being your physician and surgeon. With the support of my family and business partner, I am fortunate enough to be able to take a sabbatical from clinical practice at The Breast Place. 

In my absence, Maureen Murphy North, PA, and Jennifer Beatty, DO, will be providing clinical and surgical care for my dear patients.  All care plans have been communicated in detail to the covering providers through our shared medical records and will continue to be coordinated with your medical oncologist, radiation oncologist, reconstructive surgeon, and primary care physicians as appropriate.  I have full confidence in the skills of these amazing women I have worked with for the past seven years, and since we practice according to the same up to date screening guidelines and treatment algorithms, I anticipate no changes to your plan of care. I appreciate your understanding and patience as some office appointments may be rescheduled to fit into the clinic hours of Dr. Beatty and Maureen.

Over the next months I will be able to spend more time with my children while I focus on reading, writing, and personal reflection. My patients have been my greatest teachers and inspiration, and I would love for you to interact with me here on my website. I hope to use our dialog to help determine how my writing can best serve the community of women I have grown to profoundly appreciate and respect.
